Hillside Group brings several ventures together with a single purpose — to steward the land well and be a genuine blessing to the people of Limpopo.
Grown from one farm above Tzaneen
Hillside Group began on a working farm on the slopes above the Tzaneen Valley, 25 km from Tzaneen and just 8 km from Modjadjiskloof. What started as agriculture has grown, season by season, into something broader: orchards and organic gardens, homes and guesthouses, a wedding venue, and a training centre reaching deep into the surrounding villages.
The setting has always shaped us. Framed by the Wolkberg mountains, with the Kruger National Park and the Magoebaskloof waterfalls nearby, this is a peaceful, fertile corner of the country. We have tried to farm and build in a way that honours it — using water and soil wisely, keeping our surroundings natural, and letting the land breathe.

That verse captures the spirit of the work. Our Christian faith is not a slogan bolted on to a business — it is the reason we exist. It shapes how we treat the soil, how we welcome guests, and above all how we serve the poor and vulnerable in the villages around us.

We produce good food sustainably, offer people beautiful places to stay and celebrate, and equip people with the spiritual and practical tools to break the cycle of poverty and stand on their own feet.

We long to see households across Limpopo food-secure, skilled and hopeful — trusting God for their sufficiency and becoming a blessing to those around them, village by village.
